35. | Comments / Remarks | Normal sailing speed under sail power, reported ranging between 7 - 9 knots while a speed of 11 knots maximum recorded under current ownership. Total sails’ area approximately 150 m2. Hull topsides and deck repainted in 2019. LED lighting to whole interior. Vessel protected against electrolysis, by 23 anodes mounted to the hull plus 2 anodes laid to the boat sides in the water.
Masts brought down treated and recoated in 2016. New sliders fitted to mizzen mast.
Deck salon fitted with 13 with 13 windows – 5 each side and 3 in the front out of which 4 are opening at each side and 2 in the front. At the aft cabin are 4 windows each side of which 2 are opening. Also opening windows in front cabin and in heads compartment. In addition 7 hull windows at each side in salon which are all opening.
Yacht is a replica of a schooner of the 18th century, operated off the East Canadian Coast in Newfoundland. Original vessel used as a pursuing vessel against alcohol smuggling.
